I am leading efforts to create a mobile design for a retail eCommerce website. The current platform is dated and uses separate desktop and mobile layouts. The mobile layout has not yet been deployed, so mobile users have been viewing the desktop layout on their mobile devices, creating a poor user experience
Problem

The opportunity: design an improved experience for mobile devices, leading to reduced stress, fewer pain points, easier navigation, and more sales conversions.
Goal
Design a mobile eCommerce layout that:
- Reduces user pain points
- Flows cleanly on mobile devices
- Brings the company feel up to date
